  Crosswinds Church in Plainfield, Illinois is dedicated to teaching, living, and connecting people with Jesus. We are a faith-community where you can discover who God really is and live out your faith in uplifting, meaningful, and practical ways. We provide three things to help you accomplish this and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ:
  
  Worship Gatherings - Experience contemporary worship, praise music, down-to-earth messages and a comfortable friendly atmosphere.
  
  Discovery Groups - Adult and teen groups meet during the week to build friendships and grow spiritually together.
  
  Community Events - We host regular community and ministry events to give back to our neighbors in Plainfield, Shorewood, Joliet, Naperville, and Oswego.

  We have 2 pastors who love Jesus and love people. They break down the bible into simple terms so that we can apply to our everyday lives. Just a great place to learn the word of God and a great place for the family to get plugged in. Small groups are awesome, and outreach is awesome.

  This church teaches therapeutic Christianity for sin management. The message was about how you use 4 steps to escape bad habits or sin patterns in your life, and the 4 steps were sourced from psychology and not the Bible and in fact ignored central tenants of the Christian faith. Christianity is not about managing your sin or being a better person; it's about Jesus Christ, and living in the new life he has given to us. The message itself is why I rated this church so poorly, if you're not teaching the Bible then you have a serious problem.
  
  Good: This is a small church and the people are quite friendly. The pastor is intelligent, and the worship is well done with a decent band and good singers (really good worship leader).
  
  Above is my subjective opinion about the Crosswinds, here are some facts about it:
  
  Age: Primarily families middle age and older.
  Race: Completely white.
  Worship style: Contemporary
  Size: around 70 people, 3 pastors.
